Renew Church exists to glorify God and make disciples by joining Jesus daily in the renewal of all things. Based in Uptown Minneapolis, the vision of Renew Church is to see gospel renewal come to one of the most densely populated neighborhoods in the city, a place filled with apartment dwellers who are largely disconnected from any local church. The goal is to form everyday disciples who abide in Christ, pursue reconciliation, create belonging, and embody the gospel as a rooted presence in Uptown, growing through missional communities, D-Groups, and Sunday worship gatherings.
Renew Church is an evangelical church connected to Harbor Network, a gospel-centered church planting network that offers the safety and support needed to launch, lead, and multiply thriving churches. Renew is being sent out by Sojourn Midtown Church in Louisville, Kentucky, and River City Church in Minneapolis.

ANDY NORRIS
Andy Norris is the church planting pastor of Renew Church. Andy is originally from Spirit Lake, Iowa. He and his family moved to Minneapolis in 2025. Before planting Renew Church, he served as the Outreach Pastor at Sojourn Midtown Church in Louisville, Kentucky, and before that planted and pastored a church in Des Moines, Iowa. Andy holds a Master of Divinity from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School.
