Mangrove Community Church

Mangrove Community Church exists to bring the hope of Jesus to every person through the teaching of God’s Word, authentic fellowship, shared community, and prayer (Acts 2:42). Their mission is to see hearts anchored in Christ and lives transformed by the gospel.
Based in Fort Myers Beach, Florida, Mangrove Community Church is being planted in a community that is still rebuilding from the devastation of Hurricane Ian. They believe God has called them to restore more than homes, they exist to rebuild lives and faith through the power of His Word.
Mangrove Community Church partners with Fort Myers Community Church, the Global Commission Collective, and the North American Mission Board to see a gospel-centered, Spirit-led movement of renewal along the coast of Southwest Florida.

JOHN GAUNTT
John Gauntt is the founding pastor of Mangrove Community Church and a longtime charter boat captain in Fort Myers Beach. He and his wife Kate have eight children and are passionate about helping people find freedom and purpose in Jesus through prayer, discipleship, and community.
