Austin Oglesby
FORT MYERS, FL
Austin Oglesby is currently serving as a pastoral resident at the University Campus of Summit Church in Fort Myers, Florida. In this role, Austin partners with the worship and AVL ministries to support worship gatherings, while also helping lead the Ignite college ministry by leading worship and raising up new worship leaders. His heart is to see gospel-shaped worship form disciples who love Jesus deeply and serve the local church faithfully. Alongside this work, Austin is being trained and equipped as a pastor with the hope of helping launch and plant new churches alongside Summit’s broader mission. With 13 years of ministry experience, Austin carries a deep passion for multiplying healthy churches and strengthening the body of Christ to live on mission in everyday lives of worship.
Austin’s vision is to see the Fort Myers area saturated with gospel presence through faithful churches and leaders who are equipped to serve both locally and globally. He is trusting the Lord to guide where his family will ultimately put down roots next - whether continuing ministry at Summit University Campus or stepping into a future church planting opportunity.
