Partnering with us means not having to outsource these services at premium costs and/or not hiring employees or taking valuable time out of their schedules to manage the various systems that it takes to run their nonprofits.

Our Timeline

  • Stage 1: Assessment

    1 MONTH

    The planter or missionary works with Equipt to determine if an Equipt partnership is a good fit. Once approved, the planter or missionary is onboarded as an Equipt employee.

    A potential partner should expect at least two introductory meetings. The candidate will then submit personal and ministry overview documents, including an application and proposal before receiving final Board approval as an Equipt partner.

  • Stage 2: Development

    2 - 3 YEARS

    The planter or missionary is actively involved in ministry development. Equipt provides full operational support as noted in our Partner Services section.

    A planter often follows this 2-3 year track. However a missionary or mission group might stay in this stage for the duration of their time in ministry.

  • Stage 3: EIN Set-Up

    YEAR 2 - 3

    When the planter or missionary is approximately 6 months out from moving towards independency, Equipt and the planter or missionary work together to establish all legal business requirements needed for ministry setup while continuing all Stage 2 services.

  • Stage 4: Move to EIN

    YEAR 2 - 4

    The ministry is gathering and/or growing significantly. The planter or missionary has now transitioned employment to the newly established EIN. Equipt continues to support the ministry by providing all services described in Stage 2.

  • Stage 5: Transition

    3 MONTHS

    The ministry is 3-months out from offboarding from Equipt. Equip continues provide all services describe in Stage 2. Equipt implements a 3-month transition, coaching, and training plan.

FAQ

  • Equipt provides financial and operational services to help alleviate administrative burdens for church plants, missionaries and other small ministry organizations

  • Equipt partners pay an industry-low 5% of donations to receive the financial and operational services that Equipt provides. Partners may also expect a few small ministry costs of around $10-20 month. 

  • Equipt partners with a variety of organizations and individuals who benefit from our services. This includes new church plants throughout the US as well as other missionaries and ministry groups who are just beginning the work to which God has called them.  

  • Equipt has partners all over the United States. We are able to partner with individuals and organizations doing international ministry work as long as the partner holds U.S. citizenship.
